Training resources

In agriculture, the difference between success and setback often hinges on the decisions we make. The University of New England's coaching program is designed to enhance decision-making skills, helping farmers manage for climate variability.

Making a good decision means using all the tools at your disposal—your gut, heart, and head. While we can control how we arrive at a good decision, whether it becomes the right one often depends on factors beyond our control, such as sudden market shifts, legislative changes, or unexpected equipment failures. Even with all the right information at hand, the outcome might not always align with your expectations. But remember, a good decision made with the best information available at the time is still a success.

Our program focuses on helping you make consistently good decisions, increasing the likelihood that these will turn into the right ones. Through a coaching approach, we draw on the wealth of experience and knowledge within your group, recognising that everyone has a unique learning style. This ensures that each participant gains lasting benefits for their farming business and family.

These training resources are designed to help deliverers across Australia implement the Drought Resilient Pasture Landscapes project locally.
